Position Details

• Position: Senior Tax Officer
• Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
• Deadline: September 21, 2025

Key Responsibilities

1. Support group companies in their tax compliance and related matters.
2. Perform account reconciliations related to tax purposes.
3. Compute and file various tax returns, including VAT, WHT, corporate tax, payroll tax, and others.
4. Prepare documentation and provide support during tax inspections.
5. Liaise with regulatory authorities such as TRA and BRELA.
6. Assist the finance team in completing various tax-related tasks.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4. Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
5. At least 3 years of proven experience in tax computation, filing, and compliance.
6. Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and regulations.
7. Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
8. Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
